When I get to the screen to select update from microsoft updates or a proxy server I have no info to enter and cant select windows updates cause of no internet. On a disconnected server you should not be using that setup wizard.
Everything you need is going to come from the metadata import done from the connected server. The previously cited Deployment Guide article identifies which settings must be set on the disconnected server prior to import.
Ok I have reviewed these links times unless im missing something it doesnt give direction on how to install wsus with no internet. I believe the install needs to be a full install so it can mange all computers on this network. As always I do appreciate the help.
WSUS would be a lot better, but if you can't make it work You can run it from a network share and it auto reboots the PC as needed until done. You still need to start it on each PC, but after that it's pretty much automated. It's true that the documentation does not hold your hand through the process step-by-step.
