Super atv winch install
Now grab the stop block and screws. The cut out goes towards the clevis hook. Once all the hardware is started, fully tighten all four. Now grab four M10 x 30 mm bolts out of the hardware kit and two M10 nylock nuts. Grab the winch mount and lay it into place and get the bolt started. If you reach around on the backside, you can hold it in place a little bit with your knee or if you have somebody to help you that makes it a lot easier.
Get the hardware started on both sides and pick up on the winch mount to get the lower holes lined up. Thread the bolts right in. No reinstall the front bumper and fully tighten the hardware. Slide the screw through the bottom hole here, then come to this section under the dash.
There are three holes right here. Slide the screw through the bottom hole and line it up to tighten it. Then mark a spot in the plastic for the top hole, then drill it out. Take the phillips head screw and start with the top hole. Then do the lower. Once you have the hardware started, fully tighten it. Next grab the red and black wire. Run the ground wire down then back up then attach it right here to the ground post and thread the nut back on.
Then attach the ground to the solenoid too. Run the hot wire down here. Attach it to the busbar and the solenoid. Next grab the yellow and blue wires. Take these wires and run them under the hot wire then attache it to the post.
Find this grommet in the firewall on the passenger side, and cut a slot in it big enough to feed your wires through. Feed the wires through as far as you can. The orange wire here is the keyed on power source. This is going to connect to the red wire on our SuperATV rocker switch which can be purchased with the kit. I highly recommend you do. It makes it a lot nicer and easier.

Our solenoid is color coded to make wiring as easy as possible. Following this diagram will tell you where everything goes and following the steps below will give you more details. For some installations you may need all this wire. You have a couple options on what you can do. Personally, I like attaching them to the solenoid first and getting them fully tightened. We can go right here to the blue stud and remove the nut and lock washer.
We can lay them in their nicely. We want to make sure we keep this right here at a point where we can get a hold of it. This hot wire and this ground wire need to go just like this. Your ground will go to the center post and your hot will run right over here, to the hot post. I like to run them right down the frame rail. This wire will connect just like this. Cut it off right here.
Any excess wiring, we can feed it back into the machine. In the kit, we provide you with connectors, wiring covers, and heat shrink. Make sure you utilize the heat shrink on any connection that you make as well as use the covers on any spot where your connection may get dirty or covered in mud—specifically the winch.
Slide the heat shrink up and then make all of our connections. Then your ground will go on the center post. Just tuck it in there as nicely as you can.
We know our blue wire will go on our lower, or furthest forward, stud. Take your two washers and reinstall one, then put your connection on, then put another washer on. Then install your nut. Do the same thing here for the yellow stud. You can run it right through here, or down below.
Go right through the grommet and the firewall, right up to our keyed-on source lug on our bus bar. It just slides together. Take this little nut and thread it down nice and easy.
Now all of our connections are made. Then we can take all our excess wire and roll it up in a nice manner—something like this.
We can just run a zip tie right around the dash or slide it back over here. Tuck it out of the way. The stop block will go on your winch, just like this. That cut-out portion is facing toward the front of the machine.
Slide it all the way through there, like that. Take your nut and reach into here. Take your pull strap and slide it onto the hook. One more thing we want to show you is the wireless remote that comes in the kit. Grab hold of this tab. Hold both buttons down. If we reach in here and turn our key on, check this out.
